April Update!

I am getting way behind on the blog these days.  And in life!  Here are some of the recent pics of our day at the MOA.  We had some leftover points from a previous visit to Camp Snoopy, or whatever it is called now, so we used them up on a rainy day.

Hannah Update!

We were at Children's Hospital last week for Hannah's first procedure, Botox injections.  These will help relax the muscles in her lower leg and calf to help straighten out her left foot.  We are heading into the clinic tomorrow to have her first cast put on.  She had no problems with the injections, a total of six into the calf and another muscle.  She is a little trooper, no signs of slowing down after the injections.  We will see if the casts will slow her down, I doubt it.

Star Wars Party!

Caedon has been pretty obsessed with Star Wars of late.  So we put on a showing of the Return of the Jedi for some friends and family.  It was an awesome night!!

Colorado visitors!!!

The Dodds' boys made a trip home to MN with Shannon.  Ben was on a working trip to Taiwan, so they had week with friends and families to catch up and reconnect.  It was so good to see the boys and Shan, we had so much fun.  The kids played so well together, just like old times.  The boys and girls colored pictures, played in the backyard, and basically ran each other ragged.

Coyote visitor!!!!

We had a run in with a local coyote one Sunday afternoon in April.  Jen and the girls were heading out of the house and into the car for church, when all of a sudden Jen shrieked out, "Girls!  Get back in the house, hurry! Quick!"  I was in the kitchen with Caedon grabbing our snacks at the time.  Jen then yelled out, "get the camera! There is a wolf or coyote or something in our yard."  We have some friends who live in Edina and have said they too have had coyote sightings in their area.  In fact, the city has put on meetings at Edina City Hall to warn residents of these carnivores, and to teach residents how to shoo them away from their house and neighborhoods...And evidently into neighboring St. Louis Park!
