I had the easy job of capturing a couple of cuties at their home in Chanhassen, and I had such a great time hanging out with the T family after the shoot. Jen's good friend from Mom's Morning has been talking about getting these pics of the girls all summer and we finally made it happen. These girls are too adorable!!

My friends, Molly and Chris, welcomed their first child into the world on September 5th. What a cutie! I offered to take photos of the little newbie during the first week of life since they change so quickly from a newborn to a big boy. Congratulations again, you guys are going to be great parents!!

First day of preschool

Caedon is officially a Big Boy. On Monday, Jen, Caedon and I went to Wooddale church for Caedon's first year of preschool. He'll be attending 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdays) for the morning session. His teachers are Mrs. Rebecca and Mrs. Kathy and they are soo great. He did really well the first day, probably better than Jen and I combined. It was an orientation day for parents to see the classroom, school and learn all the policies. Today was his first day at school. He did really well, and so did Jen. When I came home from work today Caedon told me that he was a brave boy for going to school all by himself.

Each kid gets a symbol to represent their "locker" (as you can see it is simply a two pronged hook). Caedon was excited to be a "birthday cake" in his own words.

Grandpa's 86th Birthday

Happy Birthday Grandpa Jochum!! We spent the day at my aunt Laurie's house celebrating Leo's life. It was good to see everyone again and how much all the kiddos have grown. We love you Gramps. Please pray for GiGi this week his going to have his gall bladder removed. It should be a straight forward procedure, but it never hurts to pray.

Skoal Vikings Skoal

Caedon has been revving up for the 2010-2011 NFL football season for the last few weeks. I told him last night that the Vikings were going to be on TV for the first time this year. He went straight to his room and got his jersey and helmet on, and told me he was going to be Brett Favre. Although we lost 14-9 to the Saints, I think we have a good shot again this year, if Favre can stay healthy and Rice comes back with vengeance in the second half of the season. Percy's gotta step it up from last night, but AP will carry us home. He is a real force to be reckoned with.
