Florida

We spent a week in Florida hanging out with friends and family.  We hit the beach a couple of times.  Norah rolled over for the first time at the beach, we were so excited.  It was so hot and humid, it was the summer we never had here in Minnesota.

Holmes Beach, FL

We spent a couple of days at Michelle and Frank's house.  Norah was super excited to be in FL with family!
Spending a week with girls will do this to a boy.

One of fifty photos we took  and this is the best I could do to get all the cousins to look at the camera.   Olivia is holding Nemo and looking straight ahead so nicely, Norah and Julia are checked out of the photo shoot, and Caedon and Sophia are chatting about who know what.

Sophia and Caedon in 2007 when we last visited FL.  We penciled in some dark eyebrows as a joke.  It didn't stop here...

We may have started a family tradition?

Caedon loved it so much two years ago that he wanted to get his eyebrows drawn in again.

Lido Beach, FL

Caedon and Jen found a real crab in the ocean.  We brought him home with us, but he didn't survive long, since we didn't have the right food, water, and other essential things for life.

Jen's best friend from high school, Shanna, visited us for a night.  Her boys, Michael (8) and Matthew (10), tagged along for a nostalgic evening remembering high school memories and catching up on life.

It's so haaarrddd, to say goodbye, to Emery (can you hear Boyz II Men singing)

  2. In the shot that is "one of the fifty" Norah looks like a little Eastern European woman. Hilarious....she looks tough. I especially love the one where her arms are open wide and she is smiling super big.
