For Father's day, we took an ambitious bike ride to a Minneapolis city park for a picnic. Let me tell you my thighs were burning on the way home. It's more work pedaling an extra 60+ pounds back home than it was getting to the park. We have taken bike trips in the previous summers and find them so relaxing and fun, it's definitely going to become a more frequent activity this summer.
I should explain Norah's helmet in these pictures. It's actually Caedon's orthotic helmet. To our disbelief it fit Norah. So we used it in place of the bike helmet we've not purchased for her, yet. She was pooped out by the time we got home for our picture.

ReplyDeleteso fun! we took our first "family bikeride" last saturday. we couldn't avoid the city sprinklers that crossed the sidewalk. they smacked henry in the face. he wasn't a fan. miss you guys!
