Hannah's birthday photos

We sent Hannah a birthday cake and a birthday card last week to celebrate her 3rd birthday, but we were very surprised to get an email with these photos today. We had to crop out the pictures of the other kids, but their faces were lit up with smiles when they saw the cake. We are so surprised how much she has grown since our last updated photos. No smiles on these photos, but soon enough we will see her beautiful smile. Still waiting to find out when we will travel, but hoping for our TA (travel approval) in the next few days. That way we could travel the first week of November.

We are so sad that we are missing your 3rd Birthday, but we will be there soon! We love you so much and can't wait for you to be here in MN with us. We hope your birthday is filled with joy and love. We will show you these pictures when you get home. We celebrated your birthday tonight by making a chocolate cake with sprinkles. Caedon and Norah put those sprinkles on with their own little touches. See all that cake, it is all yours!! We can't wait to wrap our arms around you and bring you back home. You are so precious and we miss you tons. Happy Birthday Sweetheart! We love you!

Prior Lake night on the boat

Our friends, Mel and Brian, invited the Adam's and us to a night on Prior Lake. First stop, Captain Jack's for dinner then we anchored in Cow's Bay (only in MN do you get a body of water named after cattle). We had a great time together with our good friends!!

Claire's birthday!!!

Look who turned 22!! We are very glad that we are a part of Claire's life and that she invited us to be a part of her Wonderful Wonka Party!! We had a really good time hangin' out Claire!

Summer school

We are trying to keep Caedon interested in school activities while away from preschool. He has been asking to do "homework" throughout the summer. So we bought a couple workbooks for him to do during down time. Norah will follow her big brother all the time. So she has picked up coloring and writing just like Caedon.

Adele's Frozen Custard

Adele's Frozen Custard in Excelsior is one of Claire's favorite sweet treat stops. She invited us to enjoy a frozen treat with the kids. It was a beautiful night!

Uncle Jamon

In July, we were graced with the presence of our beloved Uncle Jamon. We had a great visit for the week he was home with us. As always, the visit was too short, but we look forward to our next visit with him! We love you Uncle Jamon!!
