Halloween/Arizona 2010

Out of bed at 6 AM, with a smile on his face, he didn't stop talking about Arizona

Norah too was looking forward to an airplane ride.

Somewhere over the Western Rockies

Jen researched the area for a halloween party, and she found a family farm only ten minutes from my parents house. So we thought we should check it out.

We took a train ride around the farm

A truly spontaneous hand-holding moment

There were several rides for the kids

A quick picture before heading out for some trick or treating. We found a neighborhood across the street from my parent's retirement community with lots of families and kids trick or treating. The shark and kitty baskets were full of candy by the end of the night. And as I write this entry, a significant dent has been taken out of the stash.

Meal Group

Our family has been a part of a meal group with two other families in the Cities for the past year. We have grown to know each other better through service projects, meal gatherings, and story telling. It has be a blessing for our family to get to know Brian and Melissa and their little girl Olivia, aka Little Red Riding Hood, and Chris and Aimee and their two girls Abigail and Jainee, aka SuperGirl and Cheerleader. At our last meal group the kids put on their Halloween costumes for a group picture.

Fall Harvest Orchard

We made our annual trip to our favorite orchard, Fall Harvest in Delano, MN. We were joined this year by Mary and Troy and baby G. As always, it was a beautifully sunny...we seem to luck out. We hit up the usual sites and sounds...farm animals, pumpkin picking, tractors, etc. But this year we decided to take a wagon ride. The kids enjoyed it, and so did Caedon and Norah. Our wagon cauffour made several stops for us to pick gourds and popcorn corn on the cob. We'll definitely be back again next year!

The cutest chicks in Minnesota!!

Norah picked out a pumpkin

Caedon did the dirty work

These were some hungry goats

The title says it all

Norah really DID have fun in the corn pile

See you next year

Caedon was so proud of his pumpkins he wanted me to take a picture of him with them. He called them a family...Daddy, Mommy and Caedon (he quickly forgets his sister most days)

He then dressed them up for the winter

Chanhassen Family Photographer

Last weekend I had the opportunity to take family photos of our friends the Adams'. I had 'booked' the shoot about a month ago and was a little skeptical of the timing being so late in the season. I was ready to reschedule for snow, but instead we had an 80 degree afternoon, hence the girls wore some cute dresses. It has been a blast getting to know the Adams family, we have so much in common including kids nearly the exact same age! And they play so well together!

Woodbury Senior Photographer

My cousin, Michael, asked me to take his senior pictures earlier this summer. I was obliged to be considered for the job. Throughout the morning, I could not help but think about Michael running around my grandparents house as a 4 year old. To think that he is graduating from high school and heading to college next year blows my mind. Life goes by too fast! I hope you enjoy the pictures Michael.
